Pets in the Park 2012

Once again the rain threatened but held off and as a result the turnout was even better than last year.

The dog show was again very popular and raised a grand total of £260 which we will donate to pet charities. Four Paws Pet Services did a fantastic job running the show.

This year we introduced the spectacle of Ferret Racing which proved very popular - again the money raised will be donated to charity.

Also new this year, and very popular were the 'Have a Go' dog agility and CSI run by Karens K9 College who raised £50 for Medical Detection Dogs.

PETS IN THE PARK 2011

A massive Thank You to everybody who came to Pets in the Park 2011 and made the event a huge success.

The weather was kind to us, a little cool but at least it stayed dry.

I don't know how many people actually turned up but I know that people were queuing on the main road to get in and the refreshment cabin ran out of food.

We had 247 entries to the fun dog show which was superbly run by Four Paws Pet Services. The £1 entry fees will be donated to the animal charities that had stands at the event

The displays from Steve the Gundog Trainer, Delamere Dog Training Display Team and The Siberian Huskies were fantastic and went down very well with the crowds.

We have received loads of fantastic feedback about the event so I should think that we will be doing it all again next year - bigger and better !!!

Thank you to everyone who attended and everyone who had a stall or display, and finally Thank You to the Rangers at Marbury Park for letting us use their facility and looking after us on the day.
