Ian also runs the internal medicine referral service for the practices as part of Oakwood Referrals. He has a particular interest in gastrointestinal disorders, endoscopy and abdominal ultrasound.
All consultations are by appointment.

Meet the Practice Team at Holly House Veterinary Surgery:
Ian Hopkins
Ian has been a vet for 13 years, graduating from Liverpool University. He has a certificate in small animal medicine and does referral work at the Hospital in Hartford. Ian has a dog called Cookie and 2 cats. In his spare time he likes going to football matches and spending time with his wife and two children.
Naomi Roberts
Naomi is our new Vet, she qualified from Bristol University and has a growing interest in small animal surgery. She is new to the area and moved to join us from Worcestershire. Naomi enjoys all aspects of performing arts and used to sing in a band.
Sarah Bowler
Sarah our Receptionist is our longest standing member of staff and has been with Holly House for 27
years. Sarah is a valued member of the community and takes part in the local bell ringing. She has chickens at home and is soon to be the proud owner of some Highland Cattle. Sarah’s husband John is also Holly House’s gardener.
Emma Tuke-Bennett
Emma is also a receptionist. She joined us from Broom Cottage and has become a valued member of our team. Emma helps the Animal Support re-homing animals and socialising young kittens and puppies. Emma has 2 dogs and 5 cats, and takes part in a lot of animal charity events.
Zoe Tomkinson
Zoe is our Head Nurse and has been at Holly house for 5 years. Zoe has dogs, cats rabbits Guineas, a horse and a tortoise! In the bit of spare time Zoe gets after caring for all her animals she enjoys walking her dog. Zoe has just recently got back from Greece where she did charity work helping to neuter cats.
Layla Wilkinson
Layla has been with us for 2 years and has recently qualified as a veterinary nurse, She has previously worked at other veterinary practices including our hospital. Layla lives with 3 cats, blind ferret and her dog Blaze. Layla and Blaze enjoy plenty of walks and are even part of the local flyball team.
Shelley Titley
Shelley is the newest member of our nursing team and is starting her Veterinary Nurse training soon. Shelley has joined us from our Hospital in Hartford where she worked as a receptionist. Shelley has a cat, a dog and 2 Horses. Shelley enjoys riding and competing.
Jacqui Dixon
Jacqui is our part-time qualified nurse, she ahs been a Veterinary nurse for many years and has also worked at our referral hospital. Jacqui runs Holly House weight clinics and has a keen interest in nutrition. Jacqui also has a little boy called Fin and another on the way!
