Meet the Practice Team at Holly House Veterinary Surgery:
Ian Hopkins BSc BVSc Cert SAM MRCVS –Vet & Partner of the Willows Vet Group
Ian graduated from Liverpool University in 1993. He joined the Willows Veterinary Group in 1999 where he managed Middlewich Veterinary Surgery for 8 years. In 2003 he achieved the RCVS recognised further qualification in Small Animal Veterinary Medicine (a qualification normally obtained by University veterinary personel).
In 2007 we were fortunate that Ian decided on a move to Knutsford and join us at Holly House. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience. He also works at our Hospital in Northwich where he does referral work for endoscopy, ultrasound and medicine cases.
Ian is married with 2 beautiful children. He has a young, cheeky, Border terrier called Cookie, who is regularly kept in line by his two cats, Tom and Jemima. Tom and Jemima are known to many of our “younger owners” through their regular school visits. He is a long-suffering Everton fan. When he’s not walking the dog, playing with his kids, managing Holly House, doing referral work or watching Everton, he plays squash and is a member of a local squash club.

Lorna Arrol
Lorna joined us in November 2007. She graduated as a vet from Cambridge University and then worked as a small animal vet in Sussex. She moved to this area to be able to enjoy the beautiful countryside and go on walks with her two lovely, but very cheeky, pooches Charlie and Dibble.
Lorna is currently studying for a further qualification in small animal medicine (a difficult qualification to obtain in private practice, but one she is very capable of achieving).
She enjoys surfing, walking and watching Dr Who!!
