PUPPY PARTIES
As veterinary practices we actively try to encourage responsible pet ownership and realise that we have a duty to give pet owners the knowledge and skills to ensure that you look after your pets correctly. Many of our surgeries hold Puppy Parties on a regular basis. Puppy Parties are a great, fun way of learning the how to look after your puppy and an opportunity for them to gain valuable socialising skills by getting them to integrate with other dogs.
Our Puppy Parties are all led by out Dedicated Puppy Nurses who will cover such topics as worming, flea prevention, diet, dental care, socialisation, microchipping, insurance,neutering, DAP collars etc. Following a regime of preventative health care in your dog from an early age can help reduce the risk of stressful and costly treatment in later life.
We encourage families to attend our Puppy Parties as it is very useful for puppies to get used to children (and vice versa) and as your puppy is part of your family it is useful if all members of the family understand the requirements and follow the same regime.
Each surgery will have their own unique style for their parties and you will be offered a number of free gifts which may include worming products, flea products, 4 weeks free insurance, puppy food etc as well as information to take away and read at your leisure.
The nurses are also on hand to answer any specific enquiries or concerns.
Our Puppy Parties are FREE (If individual surgeries include training there may be a small charge so we advise you check with your local surgery). Places are limited at each party so
