Mark Proctor BVSc, MRCVS Mark joined The Willows in 1980. He combines farm veterinary work with managing our retail store Beeston Animal Health Ltd. Special interests include Johnes Disease control and avian work with hobby poultry, gamebirds and racing pigeons.
 
 
 
 
 
John Dawson BVMS, MRCVS John joined The Willows in 1986. In addition to his veterinary work John also organises vet and farmer courses in ultrasound, foot trimming, DIY artificial insemination and embryo transfer.
 
 
 
 
Simon Jones BVSc, MRCVS Simon joined The Willows in 1987 having spent three years in mixed practice in Devon. Simon has an interest in mastitis control and herd fertility. Simon is also responsible for our meat hygiene division.
 
 
 
 
Richard Thomas BVSc, MRCVS Richard joined The Willows in 1991 having spent two years working in the farm practice at the University of Liverpool. He enjoys all aspect of farm practice and has a special interest in pig medicine
 
 
 
Ben Pedley BVSc, MRCVS Ben has worked at The Willows since 1993, becoming a partner in 2004. He also worked in New Zealand for two seasons. Areas of interest include mastitis and cell count control, and the fertility of the block calving herd.
 
 
Darrell Irwen BVSc, MRCVS Darrell joined The Willows in 2003. As the son of a beef and sheep farmer in Northern Ireland, Darrell has always had a keen interest in livestock farming and has a particular interest in dairy cow reproductive medicine.
 
 
 
 
 
Owen Tunney BVMS, MRCVS Owen graduated from Glasgow in 2005 and started working for the Willows straight away. He became a partner in 2010. Owen is currently working towards a Diploma in Bovine Reproduction through Liverpool University. He has a particular interest in dairy cattle and embryo transfer.
