We are looking for an Animal Care Assistant to join the friendly team at Charter Vets in Newcastle-under-Lyme. 

Duties will include caring for inpatients, animal handling, cleaning, providing general assistance for the vets and nursing staff and reception work which will include greeting clients, answering phones and booking appointments.

Previous animal handling experience is essential and ideally, we are seeking someone with relevant animal related qualifications and prior experience of working within a veterinary setting.

This is a full-time role working 39 hours a week.  The current rota is between 8:30 am to 6:30 pm plus 1:4 Saturdays 8.30 am to 12 noon.  These hours may vary according to the needs of the practice.
