Receptionist – Manchester Vet Centre
We have a fantastic opportunity for a veterinary receptionist to join our team at Manchester Vet Centre.
Our practice is very customer focused and as a receptionist you will provide a friendly, professional service to our customers and their pets.
The role as a receptionist will involve answering phones, registering new clients, booking appointments, responding to emails, dispensing medication, taking payments and providing a warm and welcoming experience to all our customers arriving to the clinic. You will need to be efficient, organised and able to work well under pressure. It is key requirement to show empathy to all our customers and be able to adapt to a variety of situations as no day in practice is ever the same.

Previous reception experience is required providing excellent customer service, although not necessarily within the veterinary industry. Full training will be provided.
This is a full-time role based on working 38 hours a week. Current requirement is to work them over 4 days between Monday to Friday working 8:30 am to 6:30 pm. At the moment there are no weekend commitments to this role but in the future there is the potential that Saturday working would be re-introduced (likely to be 1:3 Saturdays 9 am to 1:30 pm).
