Vet Jobs

Like all vets, at the moment we have more vet job vacancies than is ideal. So, we would like you to come and work for us..... but why should you? Well, that depends on where you are in your life at the moment and where you want to be in the future.

Looking for a vet job - the opportunities start here

We have full-time vet jobs and part-time vet jobs, so if you need to work round family commitments or you are coming back after a career break – we can work around you.

Maybe you are ready to take on more responsibility, or you have a passion for surgery or mentoring. On the other hand your confidence may be low and you need someone to mentor you to reach your potential – we can offer both of these options too – we are employing 10 graduates this year so would love some additional VetGDP advisors.

You may want a vet job that gives the time, support and funding to get additional qualifications – want us to pay for an additional certificate? -yup we do that too.

Are you wanting a mad busy multi-vet practice with loads of surgery and exciting cases, or do you want a smaller, quieter surgery where you really form relationships with your clients – guess what we have vets jobs covering both of these options

Do you find that you trained all those years to be a vet but now have to deal with health and safety, human resources, It issues, training, marketing and accounts. At the Willows we make that easier. We have a support office with 27 colleagues who look after these areas for you. Happy, happy days.

Did we mention that we are part of a corporate?  Well we are, but we’re not shy about saying that because since joining VetPartners we have experienced the huge range of benefits below.

All our vets now get BUPA membership and  a Healthshield programme for you and your family. This is truly amazing and looks after your mental and physical health. You will have access to a 24 hour support team and counselling service. The scheme also pays for a host of medical support including dental work, prescriptions and opticians all the way through to massages, aromatherapy and hopi ear candles plus much, much more!!!

You will also be enrolled on the Perks programme, giving you huge savings on a range of products and services from household names for clothing, appliances, eating out, tech etc, cutting the cost of your shopping and entertainment.

Talking of entertainment, at the Willows we like to have fun so we have a Christmas party with live band and a summer festival for you and your family with bands, a funfair, scrummy food and attractions. Our practices are also encouraged to do their own socials for their teams.

We have a wellbeing champion in each branch and our head office have a wellbeing department, with fun challenges and helpful advice to keep us all happy and sane!!! they have, this week announced a paid day off for every employee to undertake volunteer work – how nice is that?

As well as investing in our wellbeing, the other benefit of being part of a corporate is the investment back – in the practices, equipment and training. There are great opportunities for learning – far more than are available in independent practices – and loads of opportunities to progress and be involved with the clinical board or species groups.

They have also developed an online learning platform where people can grow comfortably at their own pace – it’s not all clinical either, loads of our colleagues are enrolled on the British Sign Language course!

We are also based in a lovely part of the country, within easy reach of amazing shopping, exhilarating scenery and outdoor pursuits, loads of concert venues, and brilliant schools. Find out more here.

If you are looking to relocate to the Cheshire area we can offer a relocation package, T&C’s apply so please get in touch to find out more !

So, in short, if you are looking for a change come and talk to us. No pressure. Tell us how you want the job to fit around you now and how you want it to develop in the future. Let us see if we have a vet job that gives you everything you need to make you happy now and that will keep making you happy year after year.
